I'm 4th Generation Montanan...

And I'm proud my momma dressed me funny 🙂

I’m a lifelong Montanan who understands what it means to build something that lasts. I was born in Long Beach, California, while my parents were stationed there during the Vietnam War; however, our family eventually returned home to Montana, where our roots run deep. My family has called this state home for over 150 years, with a legacy built on hard work, faith, and a strong commitment to community.

For more than 30 years, my wife, Kerry, and I have built both a family and a business rooted in faith, hard work, and service. We’ve been married for 32 years and raised three sons—Garrett, Robert, and Sam—teaching them the same values that have guided our lives. Today, two of them work alongside us at Freelance Marketing Group, Inc.—Montana’s oldest digital marketing firm serving America’s industrial, agricultural, and aerospace & defense manufacturers, and one of the oldest firms of its kind in the nation.

I know what it takes to build something from the ground up. Since founding Freelance Marketing Group in 1996, I’ve helped businesses across Montana and the country grow and adapt in an ever-changing world. My leadership comes from real-world experience—making payroll, creating jobs, cutting through red tape, and doing what it takes to help clients succeed in a global economy.

I love this state—its land, its people, and its way of life. I’m committed to protecting the freedoms and opportunities that make Montana special, and I believe Montana families and businesses deserve a strong voice in the decisions that shape our future.

I'm a Constitutional Conservative

Unlike some Republicans currently in office, I’m a Constitutional Conservative—a Republican who believes the role of government is to protect liberty, not control our lives. I take the Constitution at its word—not as a suggestion, and certainly not as a document to be reinterpreted for political convenience. That means standing firm on the rights enshrined in the Bill of Rights, upholding the separation of powers, and pushing back against federal overreach.

I believe in personal responsibility, free markets, a strong national defense, and the right of states and local communities to govern without interference from unelected bureaucrats. The Constitution isn’t a relic—it’s the foundation of a free society. And I will fight to uphold it—for this generation and the next.
