Opposition to Geoengineering and Weather Modification

For the record: I am 100% opposed to geoengineering and weather modification of any kind — including cloud seeding. No exceptions.

SB 473, introduced in Montana's 2025 legislative session, was a step in the right direction, but it failed because people tried to draw a distinction between "cloud seeding" and "geoengineering." That's a false line. It's all weather modification, and it all needs to go.

I've been working with legislators and organizations across Montana and the region to stop these programs, and we'll keep fighting until we get it done. Groups like Rainmaker continue to lobby organizations I work with. They're not getting a yes from us.

We didn't win in 2025. We may not win in 2027. But we will get the language right, build the votes, and see this banned. That's not a maybe — it's a matter of when.
